I'm 25 and love Halloween. I go to party's, haunted houses and yes still trick or treating. I have a 5month old niece I'm taking. She is going to be a flapper. I found the cutest costume on babyscrubs.com for her. You should definitely go, I go for the candies!!

You're not officially an adult untill 18 ( I'm 18 and I wish I could still go, halloween is so cool - dressing up and free candy!). I've seen teenagers still trick or treating. I think it's fine if you go.

I am 56 year old and I never have missed a Haloween in all these years.
I don't go trick-or-treating anymore, because it is dangerous!
When my kids were as old as 12-13 we went trick-or-treating, and I dressed up, too. Sometimes I would stay home and dress up to give out candy. I have almost always had at least one party to go to, and if there wasn't one, I had one myself.
Even big kids should go with parents, and examine their candy. There really are crazy people out there who prey on children and enjoy the idea of hurting them anonymously. It only takes one bit of candy to KILL you.
This year, I am participating in a haunted house, and going to a huge party with 3 bands. I have made hundreds of Halloween costumes for myself and others.
If I had to do it over again, I would major in Theatre in College to make costumes for a living!! Love it.
My favorite one was a crossing guard with tire tracks on my back and front. I layed down on the stage and held my stop sign up and won first place- and prizes!! Took me 5 minutes to do, because I really WAS the crossing guard, and everyone in town knew me. haha
Another one I liked was a birthday cake hat I made for a hat contest. Fake cake, real frosting, real candles burning and my daughter in law walking behind me with a fire extinguisher. First place and prizes!!haha
Enjoy!! You are never to old to enjoy yourself. And Follow your heart, hon!

im 16 and last year i went trick or treating. I dont like it when 18 or 19 year olds come trick or treating to your door though. i think this will be my last year... kids our age like having parties instead. This year, the host is hiding candy in a forest and we will have to search for it.

I think you should start out slow and talk to him on your myspaceand be like "Hey didnt we have each other in a class?" And when you get to know each other a little bit casually slip "You know I had a small crush on you in HS". If his reaction is bad then at least it was over the internet. If it was good keep talking to him and dazzle him with your charm. lol Have fun with this. I wish you the best of luck

i agree with everyone else you should never think of your self as too old to do much of anything.
trick or treating or anything else you have a mind too do time will come soon enough when somethings don't seem to have as much interest as they once did.
for now enjoy it,live it up and have fun.
and as always go with some friends and bring along your Lil sis or brother. they will always remember the little things like trick or treating with their older sibling.

I personally think its great that you wish to continue this, most people by your age are so jaded and no longer wish to socialize with their inner child.I'm proud of you...If the older people around you say no way then have yourself one FUN HALLOWEEN PARTY.
