If allowed by your lease, then you can sub-let.
For only two months do you want to put yourself through the aggravation? Potential damage to your furnishings may not justify such a short term sub-let.
If you go ahead with it make sure you get the two months rent up front as well as a one month damage deposit. Your landlord may require you furnishing a sublet agreement. Even if they don't make sure you get one. It should cover such things as whether smoking is allowed, pets, etc. Remove anything of real importance or value. Make sure you have renters insurance.
Here's a couple web sites to guide you. The second site is a sample sublet agreement form.
Good luck with this!

You live in a great location.

Unless your landlord object, make certain you get a great tenant, more than some extra money. You can always try using Craigslsit., but better trhu someone you know

Good Luck

What does your lease contract say about subletting your apartment? I know mine does not allow it.
