I know one thing for sure....sunlight makes things GROW. So I guess it depends on which "bone" you're talking about. Results could be good, think about it!

It is basically the Vitamin D that strengthens bones. It is the same vitamin found in dairy products. Sunlight has Ultraviolet rays, too, which is good for skin, muscle, and bone.

you can get some of your vitamins through sunlight, but i am not sure how it affects your bones

the ultraviolet rays are needed for the body to produce vitamin D, and vitamin D is needed to lock the calcium into the bone structure. Therefore a pacient can develope osteoporosys, even if he does not have a calcium disorder, if he does not "see" the sun.
