madona's new african baby is makeing quite a mark in the news but i dont think there is anything wrong with it? do you?

There's nothing wrong for her wanting to help a child but there are enough children in the US that need help African American and white that she didn't need to go to a third world country to be benevolent.
Not to mention, how much of a mother is she going to be when she sent the nanny to pick the child up? Why not go herself? God bless her for using her celebrity to help this child but shame on her for using it as a means to keep her name in the papers!

Its great that she is able and willing to adopt. But I think she should have stayed within the law doing it and not rushed it. And she should have adopted a child with no parents at all. But I'm glad she is funding the orphanage.

Not at all! Folks are upset because she was sort of rushed through the system because of her celebrity status. I feel if she has the love and means to care for an adopted child, then I applaud her for doing it!

i think madonna's just doing it for the publicity shes gona get out of it!! she saw how much angelina got, so now she wants to get in on it!! that sucks 'cos she alredi has 2 kids of her own, y go adopt more? i think angelina did it outa pure love and wanting to help out, and madonna's just doing it because she's not getting enuff attention from the public anymore!! cos her music career is flailing.

I think it is great that a person in her position can provide a life of opportunity for that child. Shame on people for criticizing her for wanting to help.

wrong w the baby? probably not... wrong with what Madonna is doing, YES....... there are TONS of kids in the UNITED STATES that need loving homes.... she had 2 go half way around the world for one?!?!!? GIVE ME A BREAK.... nothing but publicity hungry

jus because she is "madonna" does mean she is the best candidate to adapt. she is alittle screwed in the head if you ask me. I feel sorry for her children.
