I'm afraid so. Australia will wipe the floor with us in the champions trophy and the upcoming ashes, im sorry to say. Oh well. There are a few injuries to major players though in all fairness.

I am also writing the answer, after India won the match. Honestly, I thought that due to earlier damage, where runs were hard to come by, India might be short by 25-30 runs. England's openers are in very good form and our bowlers were in terrible form. With Kumar doing good damage upfront, it was a great win in the end. A big morale booster and this can certainly change the look of whole series. India just needs to plug couple more loopholes. One of the openers has to go and maybe take out Ishant Sharma also. Either bring back Zaheer Khan or Sreesanth, if they are fit to play and get back Sehwag or promote Pujara to open the innings. He can do a good staying job, like Cook, as he can take care of one end for whole 50 overs, if he scores with an above 60% strike rate. All the best to team India, hopefully they can take charge of situation from here onwards..

As an Australian I'm still not quite ready to write them off!!

With that bloody Barmy Army that trails them.......they have as much chance as we have, and they're only down a couple of players. It's not like they're sending over a second-rate team for the ashes.
Keep in mind we have to WIN the series outright or the Poms get the goodies!!!

Ps Can't wait for the start!!! Love the army!!!

No buddy!

It's just that they are out of form, which is temporary.

Don't bet against them. You'll end up losing all the money you have.
