Nothing. Both are petroleum based. The vaseline will desolve into the gasoline. I wouldn't put this mixture into your car or other engines. The vaseline will foul your spark plugs. It is about the same things as putting two cycle oil into the gas.
Be very careful desolving substances into gasoline. Some will cause the gasoline to explode.

I see you have three answers to this question already...
Of those answsers, one is close to the mark, i.e., nothing happens except the formation of a thick goo.
Gasoline and petroleum jelly mix together to form a
liquid goo (thickness dependent on ratio of mix).
This liquid goo is called napalm. When sprayed
across an area it tends to stick to anything it comes
in contact with . When ignited it will burn. If you try to wipe the burning substance off, that action will spread the burning fire to other unaffected areas. The fire will continue to burn until all the gasoline and jelly combustables are consumed. This material has been used effectively in pressurized squirt guns (flame throwers) and in bombs (napalm bombs) dropped from aircraft.
