I got my period 12 days ago. I smoke pot once or twice a week (not alot) last night i had sex and i started bleeding - not heavily at all. but today i also saw spots of blood. what is this? is this common to woman that smoke occasionally?

Smoking pot wouldn't have an effect on that. You could have spotted for several reasons. Some women have a bit of spotting when they ovulate, or you could have an infection that caused it, or it could even be due to a hormone imbalance. I'd say if it happens again, go see your gynecologist to find out why.

Ok. its probably NOT the weed, but could be many things. Many women Spot bleed between periods, If you are concerned, You should purchase some panty liners and wear them all the time, so you dont have to worry about accidents. Also, NOT TO LECTURE... But smoking weed can seriously effect your memory, especially short term... eventually you wont be able to remember anything short term and will constantly be forgetting which is a huge burden to friends and family. So even tho twice a week isnt a whole lot... Its killing your brain. Someday you might need it, and worse yet... someday, someone you know will tell you something important and tell you to remember, and then have to call you and tell you another 10 times for you to actually remember wth they were telling you. Its frustrating... So be careful.

im not a woman but i kno about pot and normally it could effect child birth the best thing for u to do is 2 go get checked out the pot could be enhancing ur blood cells at an extreme level causing u 2 bleed try not 2 smoke and see wat happens aswell

i have been smoking weed for 14 yrs and it can regulate your period, also it can be the type of birth control u are on. there are many options.. purple haze, blueberry, hydro.. light one up for me. i am at work.

if you mighjt by chance be on the pill that could be it

no at all i smoke all time and its not that but, it is ok to bleed sometimes are you on the pill ? or might you be preg? but call the doctors ok
