No, it's not right, and she should be in prison.

the courts will believe the evidence at hand. She obviously had some form of evidence or the court would not have given her custody. If you want your child back make sure that between now and your court date you become a model citizen. No drug or alcohol use, steady employment, absolutely clean apartment. If you have a boyfriend make sure that he can follow the same kind of lifestyle. If you don't have a steady boyfriend it would probably be best to stay on your own. If neighbours or others have to tell the courts how you live your life make sure it is all good. If you are unemployed find a steady job if you are undereducated take some kind of upgrading so it shows your intent to become a good mother that can provide for her child. You have not quite 6 months to prove how much you love your child, go for it.
If and when you get your child back social services will still check up on your progress so if you need changes in your lifestyle now is the time to make them.

Lets say for instance you did do something wrong- you will have a chance to get your child back- and you may be tested for drugs or whatever- a 3 yr old in school?? Social services wants families back together- it is easier on the system- your innocence should be easy to prove- they want to do what is best for the child-cooperate - it will help- sorry this is happening- D

If social services is involved and you are truly telling the truth, then I don't see why you can't / couldn't get them back. I don't understand why your own mother would abduct your child..is she mad / insane...? I would get an attorney if you don't have a court appointed one and take it to the limit...but being a foster parent myself and having sat thru these hearings...no matter what she said to get the children...do EVERYTHING the judge tells you to do, no matter if it makes since to you or not...

People sometimes do the wrong thing for the right reason. You do not give enough back ground for us to properly judge whether she was right or wrong, but as your children's mother it should for now be enough for you to know that your Mum cared enough about your child to step in because she thought the child was in danger.

The safety of your children is paramount and as long as the child is not in danger with your Mum, you only have to PROVE her wrong to regain custody.

Courts don't make orders like this lightly, be happy that she cares enough to step in.

The question has to be asked:What was it that drove your mother to take such drastic action? There has to be a reason why she risked her freedom,& why didn't the police or social services return your child immediately? It's quite obvious you are not telling the whole story,there-fore,i don't wish to make any further comment.

I don't think that it is legal any where to abduct a child for any circumstances- you have to go through the court systems for getting custody.

Man, she screwed you over. You should sneak over to her house and steal her Metamucil. Then have a straight up trade. Old people die without that shitt. Or you could offer her some Old Country Buffet coupons. They love that place too.

i know people who cared for toddlers who have been molested and abused by utilising mothers and dads who found drugs greater considerable then the toddlers. in case you had undesirable reviews with CPS that's to undesirable. Its nevertheless no reason to bypass away maximum of toddlers to abuse because of the fact some workers are undesirable. they are human beings and there are stable and undesirable human beings in maximum professions. i'm optimistic there are some undesirable law enforcement officials yet you dont pay attention human beings saying we could desire to consistently do away with them because of the fact they are all undesirable.

You must have done something wrong. There is no way on earth she would be allowed to keep the child unless there were unsual circumstances.

Either your mother is right or you are right. Let's hope the court can decide which?
