I think being your first pregnancy you don't always see your belly sticking out as much as you'd think. Any day now I bet you'll be showing even more. You might just be having a smaller baby too. Babies are soooo scrunched up in us it is amazing they stay in as long as they do.
I am guessing you are going for your check ups and if something was not right they'd tell you. I did not gain a ton of weight and still had very normal sized babies.
Eat and enjoy being pregnant!!

Sounds like your doing fine. Your tall, so the baby has more room to grow length wise. A shorter person will tend to show quicker. Also, every pregnancy is different. With my two, both were similar but different. I didn't show much with the first one until the middle of the seventh month (I'm 5'3"), then everything grew at once. With the second, I showed more after the third month and grew less in the last trimester. They were about the same size at birth. Don't be surprised if you suddenly start growing within the next couple of weeks. Good luck!

My first pregnancy I gained about 16 pounds. When I was 8 months preg. some people at my job didn't even know I was pregnant yet. As long as the measurement from the pelvic bone and the fundus (top of the uterus) is increasing about one cm a week, you should be fine. My first baby was 7 lbs 3 oz. Now he is 6'1" and about 165, plays every sport, and majoring in Math. So no brain damage!

You are fine if you gained 20 pounds. You should gain about 35 to 40 in the whole 9 months of torture. I went through it twice. I gained 36 pounds the first time and 65 the second time. Do not stress-that causes more trouble than weight.

I don't think that there is anything really "typical" about how women look during pregnancy. Both of mine were completely different and I looked completely different during both. As long as your doctor says that everything is progressing normally, don't worry about it! If you feel good and the baby is doing well, what does it matter? Enjoy this time. I loved being pregnant!

Everyone is different. It sounds like you are right on target with the weight gain. As long as your doctor doesnt see anything wrong with the baby, you are good.
