If you measure success by $, then it must be Bill Gates.
Muhammad Yunus, who was honored last week with the Peace Nobel Prize, has with his model of small banking had a lot of success, for himself, but especially for all those countless poor who have worked with his credit.
I therefore prefer to name him (without forgetting how much good Bill Gates does with his money).

Her name is Alma Martinez.
She is a lady that is the president and founder of an agency that helps people with AIDS/HIV, called Amigos Sin Barreras/Friends Without Barriers.
"Amigos" operates out of the South Bay of the Greater Los Angeles area. Presently, there are 2 locations.
At this time, her agency runs 2 programs and is privately funded.
One of the programs is a food pantry that helpe approximately 200 families and singles every month.
The other program is a social group where an hoslistic approach is used for the devastating disease. Massage therapy, to help release the toxins that all medications leave in the body, and to help relieve peripheral neuropathy, is offered and sometimes yoga and acupressure.
A hot lunch is always available to clients, and birthdays are celebrated, along with holiday parties and her agency hosts World AIDS Day.
She has taught me many of her ways to run the agency.
In fact, her board has voted me in as Operations Director.
BTW, this agency is all volunteer run and operated.

I am proud to say the most successfull person i know is my amazing girlfriend. Shes 21 and after being through so much in her life she has come through it all and is a poet. Shes had heart surgery and still had enough in her to make her first million dollars by 20 seriously. Shes had her copyright bought of her for a poem she wrote and she writes like its her pen and paper are in love. The best thing i have learnt from my girlfriend is that no matter what dont give up on what you believe in your heart and if something bad happens its for a reason, and maybe a good one. =0) Love ya Jessie

My late partner who lived through the sixties and on and learned from everything that he ever experienced and passed his wisdom on to others without their even realizing it. My mother (no softie) described him as the gentlest man she had ever met. Indeed, someone hit him on the head with a ketchup bottle at a hot dog vendor's cart and he turned towards the person, realizing that the person needed help.
If he ever had money, he gave it away. He encouraged the voiceless to write and publish and he wrote wonderful stories.
Success is only succeeding in becoming the person that you want to be.
