Is that 47 yards from your spot or 47 yards from the line of scrimmage? In a regulation football game, the punter is several yards behind the line of scrimmage by the time it is punted. So you would need to subtract about 10 yards from the 47. It also would depend on the kind of competition you would be punting in as well.

Considering some of the highest averages in football history were around the 47 yard mark, I'd say that 47 yards in the air is fabulous!
