Most people have this dream of fantacy to 'retire' to the sun and golden beaches , alas, for the majority , just a dream. To put it simple , work keeps your mind , body and soul active. I knew some fellow colleagues who fell for this fantacy but became so unwell that they ended up hospitalized and death very soon after leaving work. If you happened to be born WITHOUT a silver spoon in your mouth , you have to work for 40 years plus. I get 5 weeks annual holiday plus public holidays per year , so I'm not at work all the time. Keep your pecker up mate , it's not all that bad!!

I wouldn't. I would leave.
If it was that bad I wouldn't want to make peace with it. There are other jobs out there. My current job isn't much fun, but it pays well and I get on with my boss. If i didn't I would leave without a second thought. Life is too short.

get a new job or work for yourself if you dont like working standard hours and for someone else, become a plumber or become a driver if you want to be left alone!
if you are in an office then chances are you will have a boss around most of the time! good luck!
i have just moved jobs for the same reasons! so good luck! im hoping the next place will be better!

Most of your life is not spent working - 168hrs available a week - say you work 40 that's only around 24%. But some of that is sleep tyme you say.....That's why I try to take a nap everyday at work. You've got your annual leave and if your lucky you can retire at 65.
Other than that get a new job where you are not so miserable.

I basically refused to except it! I know there will be no social security for the baby boomers and from then on.So I decided to take action not only investing here and there but also investing in a Great business opportunity. It has been one of the best investments I've had the privilege of stumbling on to. I think any business should work hard for you, not you working hard for it. This business does 95% of the work for you and the Income potential is limitless! With my income from this I'm investing in real estate in my area because it is still running at 1k-2k per acre and alot with free natural gas on it. If you'd like here is a site to check out, www.shahansdestinations.com . I LOVE IT, IT'S PASSIVE INCOME AND I WORK WHEN I WANT, IT'S ALL ABOUT MARKETING! HERE'S TO YOUR JOURNEY!!!

I think we are all doomed to work for the rest of our lives, that is until we retire at the grand old age of 70, but if you can find a job that you love then I suppose it is not so bad.

Change your job to one where you enjoy the working atmosphere, why put up with the one you got if its no good? after all a lifetime of working is hard enough as it is.
