I don't really know much about make up and I need some tips. I wanna make myself look pretty, that's really what make up is for. OK. I have turquoise-green eyes - I wanna bring out the green in them, I have dark brown-red hair, a heartshaped face and a warm complextion. What do I wear, where and what colour, how much and how??? I need the best tips for my eyes and everything!

To bring out the green in your eyes, use a medium toned slightly shimmery purple. I'd also suggest using a plummy hued eyeliner, lining the insides of your bottom lids and smudging it. Use black mascara on the tops and sparingly on the bottoms.

If you want to go a bit more dramatic I'd use black liquid liner to line the tops of your eyes. If you're just beginning to use make up it may be a bit tricky so you might have to practice a bit. Aim for your lashes; NOT just above your lashes; you'll be more precise this way.

By the way, how you line your eyes really depends on the shape of your eyes, not your face, so I can't help you out much on that.

As for the rest of your face I'd go with a slightly blushy cheek and a completely bare mouth (to put more emphasis on your eyes) If you have a heart shaped face I'd suggest just putting color on the apples of your cheeks--whether you use cream, gel or powder really depends on your skin type (cream for dry skin, gel for oily and powder for either) Colorwise I'd suggest looking at your skin the next time you're flushed (after exercising, a shower, etc) and pick a blush that most similarly matches your natural flush.

I think a copper colored eyeshadow would absoluely gorgeous with green eyes and brownish red hair. Revlon has one called 01Copper Spice. It has four colors in it. I use it all the time. For cheeks, a nice apricot shade would look nice. Don't do pink cause it won't look natural. Either a nude colored lipgloss or one with a hint of rose pink would be great. Covergirl's Wetslicks has some really good colors. Since you're starting out, I recommend that you don't put too much on, like eyeliner and stuff. It will look very made up. A brown mascara would be great for you. Good luck!

okay listen make-up doesnt make a person look better... but remeber natural is also great. I can remeber when i was younger and i wanted to wear make-up but i had no clue what shades and how much to put on.. now a days i might wake up and be to lazy to even put anything on.. what a girl should always put on before leaving is; masacra and lip gloss. I cant live with out them two. Foundation is great because it will cover just about anything. I have brown eyes so i really cant help you with your eyes. Just play with make-up and see what you like and what you dont like. Also ask some friends for help!... have fun with it and remeber.. LESS IS MORE

Girl make-up is not supposed to magically make you look pretty,it's supposed to enhance your natural beauty! Okay for you i'd suggest some black eyeliner and black mascara but don't cake it on unless you want to look scary gothic and be careful so you won't clump your eyelashes. You don't need any powder. For your lips i'd say you can get a clear gloss that just makes your lips shiny.Or you can get pink a light red or light burgundy to go with your hair. You can get all this for $5 and under at small beauty stores or dollar general or something-trust me their makeup does work!

You definitely want to use makeup that is natural and brings out your eyes. Make sure to use makeup that is good for your skin. I recommend playing with a makeup model, where you pick the model that closest resembles you and try on different colors. This will help you to see what colors go with what. Go to www.marykay.com/rpankey for use of this free model and to get tips for different eye shapes, how to bring out your lips, accentuate your eyes, etc.

I used to use MAC poweder/foundation, but it was too cakey! Their make-up is stage makeup so it's really heavy looking. It also made me break out at one point. I now use clinique and I love it! Its light and it doesn't make you look like you're wearing pounds of make-up. I use their foundation and loose powder. I also have GREEEN eyes! To bring them out and make them POP I use MAC eyeshadow! They have awesome colors. I wear lots of browns. I also use like plumb colors, pink, and green. Those make green eyes stand out! good luck! =)
