I am a firm believer that whatever happens in my life that it was meant to be regardless of right or wrong, good or bad. I place my faith in a Higher Power and bow to His Grace in all matters, whether I understand it or not. I lost several good friends that day and still look to the Lord and ask why - and I am directed to my first statement every time.
Regardless of the tragedy, President Bush IS NOT TO BLAME - Bin Ladin & the Al Qaida terrorists are the perpetrators. I am SO tired of the Bush bashing - seems that he's an easy target. I didn't vote for the man, but c'mon stop playing the blame game!

It is a good thought but I don't really think that it was necessary. Please let me explain if it was the intent to kill Americans then why they didn't just declare war like every civilized nation. But it only proves that most of the extremist are not civilized as a matter of fact they are Barbarians in my book.
It wasn't necessary to end 2,300 some odd lives on 9/11 didn't it make sense? No of course not it was a way that muslim extremist felt that it was a good thing and to make the ones who did it out of martyrs. I really don't believe that it was meant to be either not the killing of so many people for a cause that is so barbaric! Would or could you justify that all those people that lost there lives was necessary? I don't think that you could even as much as I.
We all have to remember that 9/11 was simply a wakeup call to Americans that we are not protected and that we can be gotten to by any nation that wanted to hurt us. It so happened that was the case. America needs to focus on what the real issue is here and stop focusing on other stuff because to me September 11, 2001 shouldn't have never happened and all of those people shouldn't have died for a cause that they didn't even know anything about.
And as for you, I am going to give you something to think about for a second it come from 2 Corithians 10:23 It states:
Everything is permissible but not everything is benefical. Everything that is permissible but not everything is constructive..
Think about that before you ask that kind of question and think about this verse in revelance to your question.

After what I heard on the radio this morning during an airline commercial, I think it might have been performed by our government for monetary purposes.
Did you know that when you fly, you are charged a $5.00 9/11 fee? I think the government found a way to get rid of the twin towers, to shock America and bring the people together over a tragedy, and to raise money for the airlines - who were in trouble somewhat before 9/11.

What if Newton was right? What if all actions could be determined by mathematical formulas. With enough data, you could predict the movements of everything. This would mean we have no control over anything. All our actions was dictated by fate and was etched in stone from the time of the big bang... Yes. That's it. Freedom of choice is an illusion, destiny is in the stars.. Which reminds me, I need to check my Horoscope.....
Yeah right.....

Maybe it was. But in standard Christian theology, it is sufficient to say that God allowed it to be.
Assuming you believe in God, the question is "Why has God allowed it to be?"
I firmly believe He allows Islam to act as a mirror or counterbalance to the "Christian" west, as a way of measuring and comparing our society's righteousness. Ancient Israel was not spared catastrophes when they ceased to honor God and neither will we be.
I see the growth of Islam, particularly in Europe, as a case of God saying, "If you care about your cultural and religious heritage concerning Me, fine. But if you insist on airbrushing Me out of the picture, I'll give you over to those who at least honor Me in some way, even though they don't have the legacy of the Truth that you do (did).

It was meant to be, or it would not have happened. I believe what happens was always meant to be, although we can change things, God already knows what will happen.
