From my experience, I've had two pregnancies, there is not medication to cure 'morning sickness.' If you do not get out of bed right away when you wake up, wait for 20-30 minutes, than this should help. Also, try eating foods that are not fatty or fried, like chips, hot dogs or fried burgers. Also, try to stay away from spicy foods. Also, try not to eat large meals but rather several smaller meals throughout the day. Hope that I have helped. Morning sickness usually ends by the third month or the end of the third month, usually. So hang in there. Good luck. Oh, try not to be around food that is cooking, especially meat. I know that this is not realistic for most pregnant woman but the smell of meat cooking did make me sick to my stomach.

No treatment is needed in most cases, as the symptoms are often mild.
If symptoms are so severe that it interferes with your everyday life, and is stopping you from gaining weight normally or causing weight loss, you should see your GP. You will probably be prescribed a medicine (an anti-emetic) to stop the vomiting.
It is worth noting that there haven’t yet been many studies to test the safety of anti-emetics in pregnancy, and it is generally best to avoid taking medicines during pregnancy. Medicines should only be taken when you are pregnant if the expected benefit is thought to be greater to you than the risk to the baby , so always consult your GP. However some anti-emetics have been used for a number of years and are thought to be safe and can be prescribed by your GP.

I did not know that you was allowed to take medication for Nausea if your pregnant. My doctor told me to just eat toast, crackers, nothing greasy and oily.
Taking medication is not a good idea however, if your doctor prescribed it I quess it's alright.
I personnally wouldnot take anything because I do not want to risks my baby getting a birth defect... Good Luck!!! The nausea will go away. I thought mind was going to last for ever. I am 34 weeks and the problem left at the begining of my second trimester...

Honestly I never took medications because I was afraid of damaging my baby somehow, but what I have found that works is: cereal like crackling oat bran that I kept by my bedside so before I would get up and eat a handful. Crackers never really worked. Try the dry cereal like cracling oat bran or cheerios

There is no medication for morning sickness. I found it helped to lay in bed for 20-30 minutes when i woke up before sitting up and eating right away in the morning, and as soon, if not before, I felt hungry throughout the day.

ugh, dont take medications.
Take 25 ml of vitamin b6 three times a day. It takes a week or two for it to take full effect, but it works like magic, and theres no crazy chemicals to share with the baby.
Alot of mornign sickness medications have been known to cause miscarriages. Dont risk it. Controling your body with chemicals is stupid, and dangerous when pregnant. Regardless of what a doctor tells you.

Phenergan does work well but beware that will make you very tired. When I took it I passed out!!! When I woke up I was really scared cause I was home alone with my 2 year old!!! Lets just say I rather go through the sickness than risk that again!!!!

My doctor prescribed me Zofran ODT. It cost a little more, but worked great for me. It dissolves in your mouth so it works pretty fast. I also found that to suck on lemon drops worked pretty well. Good luck. My morning sickness lasted to about the 6th month. Flat soda worked too.

I don't want to panic you, but my wife suffered from 'morning sickness' that lasted all day - turned out she had Gall Stones.
If you are feeling any sort of pain in your chest, or if the sickness gets worse when you eat fatty foods then you need to get it checked out.
