There could be more reasons than back pain, like the medications and maybe a blood work up should be in order as well, maybe male menopause and depression. Some males have this and not even know it and embarrased to share this, even with the one they are closest to, their loving wife. There probably is an underlying problem as to why this is happening.
Low testoserone can do this, also, another problem that his urogilost has not diagnoised. If he has urinary problems. like taking a long time to pee, or infections, there is a serious problem right there and he could be frightened. he neds to see a professor of Urology.

is it normal? no, that is a big no!! if he has back pains then he should have it checked by the doctor long before or maybe you should persuade him into going to the doctor, at that point he will get the hint that you need him to get better. i think there is a deeper reason than the back pain. have you considered asking yourself for any other reason? try to talk it out and try to be more understanding. remember that it takes two to tango try not to be critical to each other. you are trying to do something to make it work so stick with that idea. good luck!!

Sometimes the medication they give out for back pain makes it difficult or impossible for a man to get an erection. If that is what is happening, he probably would be too embaressed to say that he cannot get an erection. Men tend to be sensitive about that.

No, Thats just strange - its unnatural. it could mean he's not into you anymore or is getting soem on the side. I'm sorry but thats just really weird - most guys want it all the time and find a way to make it happen. Sorry of this isnt what you wanna hear!

Its not 'normal', though sadly not unheard of.
Its also not anything you did. I don't care if you ***** at him all day, don't help around the house, don't do anything sexy, blah blah, a 'normal' healthy male would still screw you occasionally. It's him. Its also not acceptable, if you're not happy with it.
If there are medical reasons preventing him from being intimate in any way with you, he needs to get them resolved. You deserve more.

I doubt it. Perhaps he should see a chiropractor to get the situation resolved so he may go back to a normal sex life. If he doesn't want to go to the doctor or try something to get his sex life back-I would worry.

gift certificate for a back massage to get him relaxed.
has he tried that blue emu oil stuff on his back? I have only seen it at health food stores or at Walmart. It's about $12 and it works on a friend of mine who had broken his back in a bad accident. He is in constant pain and it works for him.

how long have you been married?
has the bad back affected any other aspects of his life.
bad backs are painful, but I wouldn't give *it* up for a year without checking with every doctor available to try and cure it.
I have a *friend* who has a bad back, and takes valium and co-codamol and *he* still manages to sustain a relationship.
