I have sleep deprivation. I was on Ambien CR but a bottle of 60 is 109.00 plus change so now I take 2 Tylenol PM's every evening or a pain pill because I injured my knee in an accident.

Masturbate.
I used to have really bad insomnia and my doctor gave me this paper listing things you can do to help you sleep. The top thing on the list is sex. Very first. And that's from a doctor.
I also get migraines, and I got a list for that. First thing on that list was sex as well.
I'm not joking or trying to be dirty or anything. This is genuine advise I got from doctors.

I usually lie there and suffer, knowing eventually I'll drift off in one way or another. In absolute worst circumstances, I'll get up and read a book.

I count.....really slow in my head. It usually works.
If counting doesn't work then I take a Benedryl. I'm passed out in less then 10 minutes.

I get on my computer and surf the internet, or I turn on my ps2 game console and play a game. Or I'll go for walks. Sometimes I do my homework. Other times, I play a movie and watch it with my husband

I try to end stressful days with a nice hot bath with the lights out, a few candles burning while sipping on a glass of pear brandy, hop into my warm bed in a cool room and snuggle up to my hubby, usually does the trick and I am asleep fairly quickly.

I get up and do yoga in the dark.
Relaxing, helping quiet my mind, releasing any tension, and balancing my body. I just drop straight off to sleep after about 15 minutes of that.
It's the greatest.

Read a book, listen to soft music and sometimes a glass of wine helps too.
