I've recently broken out on my face like a mofo, and really need a good concealer. What do you recommend?

If you are breaking out, I recommend using Arbonne's acne line, Clear Advantage.

Arbonne Clear Advantage Acne Wash- Soothing, oil-free, deep pore cleanser unclogs pores and cleanses away dirt. Medicated with acne-fighting, prescription quality salicylic acid. Active ingredients are deposited directly into the pore, helping to clear blemishes and prevent new ones from forming.

Arbonne Clear Advantage Refining Toner- Alcohol-free, oil free toner helps balance and calm skin while removing excess oils. Enhanced with alpha hydroxy acids to gently and effectively remove dead skin cells. Skin is left clean, soothes, hydrated and refreshed.

Arbonne Clear Advantage Acne Lotion- Mild, oil free lotion with acne fighting salicylic acid penetrates pores to destroy blemishes causing bacteria, improving problem skin. Soothing and calming botanical agents help to heal and hydrate skin.

Arbonne Clear Advantage Skin Support- A uniquely developed dietary supplement to support the skin from the inside out. A combination of acne-fighting nutrients, such as vitamins, minerals and amino acids, plus botanicals used for centuries to improve skin conditons.

Their concealer comes in 4 shades.
Conceal imperfections while hydrating skin with Arbonne's light-reflecting Concealer, in four shades that won't dry, flake or smudge. This botanically-based, lightweight concealer helps to even skin tone and conceal blemishes prior to foundation. Enjoy lasting color and easy application with the built-in wand.

If you put chemicals on your face then you are only making the problem worse. Wear mineral foundation (NOT Bare Minerals, Jane Iredale, Sheer Cover, Physicians Formula or anything you see advertised on TV. They aren't really natural and have irritating ingredients). They are made from crush earth minerals and the coverage is 10 times more of any concealer you'll find in a drug or department store. And you use very little so it lasts a lot longer (the method of application is to do light layers. If you apply too much at once it will cake. If I have a pimple then I pick up a little bit of mineral powder with a concealer brush, tap off excess, dust it over the pimple and VOLA! Gone! If it's really red then I use a very tiny amount of green concealer before the powder) . Plus it will help heal your skin. I often wash off my makeup and my skin looks better than it did that morning.
I like Pureluxe (www.pureluxecosmetics.com) and Everyday Minerals (www.everydayminerals.com) they are the best quality and the least expensive. Plus they offer more product than a lot of other companies. Everyday Minerals has free samples too!

Before you go for the concealer, also focus on the state of your skin. You could go to a dermatologist if it's gotten very bad, and/or just begin using very mild face products and see if this helps. Good lines to try are Cetaphil, Dove and Phisoderm. Also drink LOTS of water -10-12 glasses a day. (This is something many people don't realize will improve the state of all skin!).

Moving on to concealers, the best ones, particularly for yellow/orange undertones are 3 Custom Color Specialists, Amazing Cosmetics and Sue Devitt.

Try using a concealer for acne prone or blemished skin.
Neutrogena makes great ones with Salicylic acid, that dries out the imperfections while it covers up.
Try using the concealer with the powder on top, it will dry the spots out like crazy!

Make Up For Ever finished insurance Concealer a whirl. It’s a specialist grade formulation that would hide important imperfections which comprise scars, pimples, uneven pores and skin pigmentation, nice lines, and maximum heavily darkish circles lower than the eyes. The formulation lasts all day and is water-resistant. and notwithstanding it’s “heavy responsibility,” the cream is amazingly light-weight.

stay away from make up for about two weeks. let the reaction to what ever you were using die down. if you keep using products on top of products then your not letting your face calm down. You need a good natural cleasner do not use any thing with a fragance or perfume activated make up. but what did you break out from? was it a reaction to othe cosmetics? Remember to wash and tone your face every day...your face will thank you for the time off of the gunk on your face and you will be back to normal.

Believe it or not I found that Posner cosemetics has a concealer at my Walgreens which is really good for me. There are several colors to choose from & get a concealer brush to apply it so you don't use too much.

When ever I want to hide my zits, I use Covergirl's Invisible Concealer. Covers smoothly and evenly, doesn't look cakey and covers up my zits well. Make sure to get one closest to your skin color.
