i know from experience that you are not allowed to lift heavy items of stretch . as this can result in miscarriage depending on how far on you are.

My suggestion to you is to avoid having to tell your stepmum the good news is, tell her you hurt your back , of better still tell her you are pregnant. Or u can say you have a tummy bug i.e. virus that is going around

hope this helps and i hope u tell her soon im sure she will behappy u r expecting.

Ok, I look at this in two ways. One, I'm a mom, I hope my kids will be strong enough and trust me enough to tell the truth when they get your age. Two, when I was your age if my mom needed help I would help her. If you're not showing, helping with a couch or loveseat won't be too much on you or the baby, as long as it isn't a hide a bed. Those can be very heavy. If you're just not ready to tell, don't lie to her, you don't want to loose any trust you may have. Also, telling her could be a good thing. If the pregnancy is a good thing to you, she'll be happy for you. Of course I'm saying this assuming your not under 17. Most moms, even step moms, love the idea of grand kids.

the 1st thing my GP told me was not to lift any thing to heavy or any un necessary stretching as it puts strain on your tummy muscles which could lead to a miscarriage!!!!!!

( sorry if i sound rude but i keep my pregnancy secret till bout 12+ weeks then you should be out of the danger zone )

Tell them you lifted something and hurt your back (at work?) and the doctor won't let you lift anything over 15 pounds. Say you are supposed to go for some more tests to make sure you didn't herniate a disk (MRI). That will buy you some time. Then if you are asked again, tell her you have the flu and are high contagious and you are VERY sick and will talk to her later.

Good luck!! Tell them soon.

Tell her that you pulled a muscle in your back and you cant help, but then you are going to have to grab your back during the day while you are out to make it believable.

Ya know you are going to have to tell people eventually, and there is no time like the present, If she finds out some other way, she is going to be hurt that you did not tell her, and just think, after you tell her you will not have to keep making up lame excuses for things.

You forgot to inform me! yet its ok, i comprehend that typically you're making blunders. you're in difficulty-free words human, and through this enormous huge international one little mistake can both cut back to rubble a persons' life, or open a door to a sparkling international finished of fantastic reports, and in case you in basic terms take a probability and walk by ability of this door, im particular you'll locate the man who after forgot to inform you that they love the way you flow and the flicker on your eyes. So i in basic terms wanted to say definite, you're forgiven.

Maybe you slept badly and have a crick in your back you don't want to make worse. Maybe you went down a step badly and you wrenched your leg or ankle bad...not bad enough to make you limp but still weak enough that you would re-twist it if you used much muscle. If you sometimes exercise maybe you overdid it yesterday and now you are too sore.

You threw your back out and the doctor wont let you lift anything over 25 pounds until they can do more testing to make sure the disk isnt crushed. That should buy you quite a few months of light duty lifting.

You aren't very far along, you can move furniture.

However.. I'd just tell her you pulled a muscle at the gym the other day and the doctor told you not to do any heavy lifting.

Just tell her you had an acident (you fall down) and you hurt your back so you can't do efforts and because of the drugs you are taking for the pains you can't drink.
Wish you all the happiness to you and your baby!!!
