A friend of mine that was a caffeine aholic just quit drinking anything but water and lost 15 lbs in one month. He has since not drank anything but water and an occasional protein shake here and there however he has started to do some exercising and has lost over 65 lbs in 7 months. He still eats whatever he wants but only drinks water.

It depends on whether or not you want lasting weight loss I guess. But diet and exercise (lots of both if you want results that fast) is always the best plan. But the faster you lose the weight the more likely you are to just put it back on again.

Smaller portions on your plate, reduce fatty and sugary foods, eat loads of fruit and veg and just a little meat. Eat low GI carbs and snack betwen meals if you are hungry, but only on fruit!
Exercise every day, walking is great.

ya know hun i hear that protein shakes and green tea works wonders maybe you should give it a whirl good luck!! if ya find anything good let me know i could use to drop a few lbs too!!.....lol
