At 19 it may well be a growth spurt but you are obviously worried, so go see your doctor. With the family history it would be the sensible option.

If your not on B.C. pills (which does cause sore swollen breasts) which I assume your not, since you do have a family history of breast cancer I would get a mammogram just to be on the safe side, after having Dr.'s office preform a pregnancy test. Or if your uninsured the crisis pregnancy clinic will do this for free. Without involving your parents. If your not pregnant use birth control pills, they have some really great ones now that you can take 1 pill a month & your periods are only 3 or 4 times a year. Good Luck..P.S. Don't be so anxious to have sex it only shows that you don't respect yourself & he will never respect you because of a sexual encounter that he will soon forget within a month. So many unwanteed children are born this way & without the love of a father.

from what you are describing it does not seem that you should be alarmed. first, breast cancer takes weeks if not months or years to grow and develop.. so it is impossible you grew two huge tumors "overnight". if your breasts grew symmetrically and both are more swollen than normal there are many possibilities. have you gained weight recently? are you getting your period? some girls grow an entire cup size depending on the time of the month. if you have had sex since your last period it is possible that you are pregnant, i would not exclude that. did you start recently on any medications or birth control? that can make a womans breasts grow quickly too. lastly, are your breasts painful and is there anything leaking from your nipples? that could be a sign of a hormone imbalance.

If you think you're pregnant, you should get pre-natal care soon.
That being said, breast cancer is not typically diagnosed by sudden breast growth. What you're describing (with BOTH growing suddenly) is more likely a hormonal flux or water retention. In breast cancer, the breast size will grow gradually, and typically only in one breast or the other - not both equally.

Mine has a rather loud and annoying beep, beep, beep. Then I have the Alarm Cat which has a rather loud purr and an annoying kneading habit. The other alarm cat just punches me in the face and then where I used to live, I had the alarm jet taking off from the airport. There's no way I can sleep in.

Mine started growing for no apparent reason, had the Dr.check, mammogram, etc. Just fat cells. I blame the hormones they give the meat that is causing young girls to be bigger. But you had better check it out, you have too many possibilities that I don't have.

give it a day or two to see if the swelling has gone down.
Did you just start taking the pill? The hormones in that can make things goofy on your body.
Enjoy bigger boobs while you have them. ;)
