Where is the M.P.?

Question

where is the M.P., that we can rely on
A man that will tell them there is no more asylum.
A man when he stands up there is the house
Roars like a lion, not squeak like a mouse
A man who will tell them you cannot have gold,
We are going to care for our sick and our old.
A man who will tell them you can come and stay
But first you must prove that you can pay your way
A man who will stand up on his two feet
and fight for whats right for the man on the street
A man who will fight for you all of the time
and not simply toeing the party line
A man who can quote the old Magna Carta
and not site back waiting for a Knight of the garter
If you can find him he will not be alone
for he will be welcome in everyone's home.

I should think that we all would like to know the answer to that one. The trouble is that they all have their snout in the trough that they can't see what is going on.

Excellent Poem,you really should send this to the Speaker of the HofC, I bet he doesn't know where the MP is either.

Nice poem, but in answer to your question hopefully nowhere near to ever being elected as s/he would be such a right-wing bigot they would make Bush look positively attractive!
