Use Johnsons Summer skin every night (you can use it all over, even on your face), you can then build a natural looking tan gradually over the course of a week, I use this and never have any streaking.
Make sure you pay particular attention to knees, ankles and elbows, these areas don't need as much of the lotion to achieve the desired effect)
The key is to exfoliate beforehand and do not dress until it has soaked in, or it will rub off onto your clothes. I think it comes in 2 shades, light and dark... so go for whichever you think is most suitable. Plus it's only around £4-5 a bottle so it won't break the bank. Just remember : wash your hands thoroughly after use, or you will get brown palms which is *not* a good look!
Good luck!... and enjoy ; )

Now this I know all about! I've tried lots of different fake tans, cheap and top of the range, and it is all about how you apply it. I've not once had any streaking at all.
Make sure you have shaved and exfoliated first. Then apply a moisturiser, but not too much. When you apply the fake tan, you need to rub it first all over the area you are tanning, then go back over it, in CIRCULAR motions. This will ensure no streaking. Do this circular movement everywhere, but particularly in the trouble spots.
Then just make sure you wash your hands throroughly and wait for it to dry before you dress. If you do it this way, you should have no problems!

Im a fake tan addict!! and I used to use the Rimmell instant light shimmer this is good cos ya can control patches and all there and then!! But the only thing is it comes off all over your clothes!!
I started using the Avon Mousse one for Medium /Dark skin! Its brilliant! Wasnt expecting it to be but its great, even better then Garnier and the Lancome one I used to use! Right now its buy one get one free so its €12 for two!! Make sure you use a tan mit so it doesn't stain your hands, ya can get these in boots or any chemist!

Start out scrubbing and shaving.
Get something that isn't super cheap--nuetrogena is a good one. The spray is the best. The important thing is to spray in one long direction then stop, and go back to the beginning to do the next section.
Take a face cloth and wipe off your feet, your heels, your ankles, your knees, and your elbows. The more you do it the better you will be at figuring out what you need. Your hands need soap and water of course.

ALWAYS exfoliate the skin before doing fake tan. That's the secret to making it smooth and not streaky.

Estee Lauder spray tan is fab. It's £18 but well worth it, and it lasts for ages.
It will not go streaky, and it does't have that terrible fake tan smell.
The colour is gorgeous. It looks so natural.

Mmm.. properly I somewhat have a Babyliss coastline Bronzer spray tan thingy which i visit apply myself at residing house, yet now and again human beings call me orange cos i'm getting a touch heavy surpassed with it. perhaps Garnier or Johnsons moisturiser with a contact of tan? Thats in a number of of situations around the budget. i'm no longer particular...Piz Buin is meant to be solid yet I doubt it's going to be round £2.50. in case you purchase low priced pretend tan, you're going to seem low priced. If it truly is smart! desire I helped :) X

Try smoothing off the excess around your joints with a tissue. It makes it look natural! rub it with the palms of your hands so it doesnt go streaky!
