When you approach a seemingly small but annoying problem like this, remember to tackle the simplest chores first. Find the *ground wire* or the ground for the bulb. Your driver's manual may have this, however, you'll most likely find the wiring diagram for your vehicle in a shop guide. (Try your nearest public library first.) If you've no luck finding one you can easily pick one up online. http://us.st11.yimg.com/us.st.yimg.com/I/motolit_1917_51949715

If the ground is bad or loose, clean the contact(s) and securely fasten the connection. At least pick at the problem one step at a time to eliminate other possibilities. Being that its one headlight as opposed to both of them it should be worth your while to try a D.I.Y. repair as a decent repair shop will charge you at least an hour's labour to fix it at $50.00/hr. min. Come to think of it, buy yourself a good shop manual for your car as it will probably pay for itself on your first successful repair, no matter how small.

If any of this sounds perplexing then pass to an vehicle electrician in the previous you injury or burn the wiring or your self.

sounds like an electrical problem. Go to a mechanic shop that does electrical work and ask them. Could be something just came undone because of a bump you went over in the road, or could be something rusted out. Sounds minor....however driving with only one light could cause you to get a ticket.
