I’m staying 1 day in London, from 11:30 AM Saturday TO 11:30 AM Sunday, due to flight connection delay.
Suggest a time line for spending that day in London, visiting the “Must see places”, specially that it’s my 1st time there.

There are double decker tourist buses in London. Get on the line (there are three or four with colored numbers....red, blue, etc.) that goes to London town. You can get these tickets at various places, like Marble Arch stop. You can get on and off this line with your ticket. Go see the Tower of London (see the jewels first), Westminster Abbey, and the palace. Those are highlights everyone should see. You'll also see Big Ben, Parliament, the Thaimes River and the Tower Bridge on that tour. If you have any extra time, go to museums....the art museums are wonderful.

I agree with Sally.
Get one of the Hop on Hop off buses as they are called.
They go past all the tourist spots, and you can get off where you like, have a look around and get on the next one that comes around.
All the must see things are in Zone 1 of the tube map, which is central London. This includes Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Trafalgar Square, the London Eye and Tower Bridge.

I'd defiantly recommend walking down the south bank from say batersea bridge to tower bridge then over tower bridge and back along the north bank until you get to the monument (for the great fire) you get some wicked sights and the Tate modern gallery plus city hall HMS Belfast (a maritime museum) and the tower of London and the monument along with some wicked bars whilst surrounded by the amazing architecture oh and it takes you near borough market, i lived there for a year just from that experiance alone!

take one of the many "London tourist Buses" which will take u all around London,to all of the tourist spots. Most of the buses u can break yr journey if u se something u want a closer look at,then u just catch the next bus coming along and, resume yr journey. You should have plenty of time left in the day after yr trip to do anything else
