Simply speaking , Prime minister in India represents 1 billion people in the country . he/she should upheld the sentiments and values of 1 billion people to 100%. Any decision Prime minister takes is 100 % binding for 1 billion people. Then how can we allow foreigner or semi foreigner who adopted as Indian citizen can becomer ruler of our country. If she become prime minister any wrong decision taken without understanding sendiments of our people will hurt 1 billion people.so we can never think of foreigner to become our leader.

The biggest deficiency of Sonia Gandhi is her parent nationality. It is not her fault that she was born in Italy and married an Indian. I think she herself is conscious of this deficiency and hence her decision to decline the PM ship.

i feel that as long as that person is capable...anybody is ok for that matter..sonia or manmohan. why crib about being foriegner??? if so then why dont all the indians stay back in india instead of going to america or europe stealing thier people's jobs?? why are we so selfish..morover she is a legal indian citizen. no question of her being a foriegner. at the end of the day wat matters is good politics. whoever it may be..if the person is incapable wqe have the right to throw them off their seats but not raise such petty topics like nationality but look for good reasons...if there are any to oust anybody for that matter.

She is far better than many former P.Ms. not to name .She avoided the complications in smooth runing of the country and wanted to give no room to the opposition parties to criticise her every act. Mentioning coward is not fare. She thought for the devlopment of the country instead taking challenge to prove herself to make the other parties to keep their mouths shut. But some said that she was denied P.Ms post by the president due to her duel citizenship. How far it is true?
