No real offense, but I'm assuming you aren't FROM here.
If so, you might be a bit naive?
One thing I know for certain, after all my education and years of experience,,, Throw away all the text books you cram with, the day you get any diploma, and then discard any Rose Colored Glasses you might have chosen when you began the quest.
It's less about talent and abilty in general, than it is about perseverance, tolerance, acceptance, and sometimes resignation, on your part.
Be prepared to enjoy Peanut butter, and extra layers of clothing if your power company turns you off.
Also,,, and truly no offense meant,,, Often you might have to "prostitute yourself" in the manner of subjecting to less than you want to be able to afford the peanut butter.

There is no sure job in the acting profession. You study acting for years, if you are good, you may get an acting job. Acting is very difficult. Most actors do NOT make a living at it, get accustomed to working as a waiter, dog walker, etc. Most actors are unemployed.
What is important is TALENT and personality, "will the camera love you, " which is translated into: will the audience "love you."
When I was a college drama student the Dean of the school made it clear that we should not expect to make a career of acting, but rather consider working as a drama teacher. Oh so many years later, those words still ring in my ears, I'm thinking about teaching drama, mainly because there are so many bad drama teachers.
Study acting in the city/country where you live. Get experience before coming to America for acting.

I don't think you can get a gaurantee for Hollywood or Disney, HOwever many colleges will help you find work following college, it will be up to you to try and get your feet in the door and get some experience enough to go to the "big-time".
I know the best known acting college in North Carolina is: ECU (eastern Carolina University). It is not one of the most expensive in the country, if you are concerned about that.
The best known, and one most likely to get you to Broadway, hollywood, etc would be Juliard. However, you will have to audition for Juliard, and it is very difficult to get into if you don't already have a large acting background.

No place to study to be SURE of getting a job in any profession. Sorry. There are many universities that have theater majors, though, including SMU in Dallas, TX. You can work at Disney without a degree, but you have to get an interview (you almost have to know somebody to do that, but you can try). Good luck.

There's no such thing as a sure thing in that industry. A degree never hurt anyone... only helps. So get it anyway. And try not to go into much debt doing it. You can apply to work at Disneyworld or Disneyland by applying online or in person with their casting office. Visit www.disneycareers.com for more details. And go get that degree. You may not be able to sing, dance or act forever.

There is no "sure" job in the acting profession. It is dog eat dog, devil take the hindmost, and "what have you done for me lately?"
Natural talent is needed first, and at an audition they really don't care where you went to school.
Actors must be risk-takers. If you are looking for a sure thing, you will never be happy as an actor.

Oh my goodness yes... in fact, if you want to work in disney films, you need a disney specific degree. There are very few colleges and universities offering a disney specific degree, and you need to search very hard to find them.
A disney degree is highly specialized, and a very well guarded secret in the industry.

No matter what school you go to, there are no guarantees of an acting job. Very few actors make it. LA and NYC are full of waiters who studied acting.
