Question about others negative answers?!?

Why do some people always answer questions in a negative way, when the asker has a serious question? Are these people really that miserable with themselves??

I agree..and if they don't have a real answer, I wish they just wouldn't answer at all! Don't ya love those "yeah" and "no" answers to real, genuine questions!!! ;~)
