Yes, you can live without a cervix. It is not a vital organ like your heart or lungs. I have lived without one for 16 years. I had uterine cancer and my entire uterus was removed as well as both ovaries.

No. I lived with only about 40% of my cervix for 6 months. With the right diet and rest it healed. I lost it to cancer. I've been totally healed for about 5 months. But if they would have taken my whole cerivx I would have bleed to death. When the entire cervix is removed you have to also take the uterus.

And I'm pregnant. Just found out this morning. So anything is possible.

well oviously, males dont have it
its part of the uterus
The cervix is the lowermost portion of the uterus .
many women have a Hysterectomy , which removes the uterus and live for many years with out the cervix, it just makes concieving a baby impossible
