Read the contract it will tell you.
Some are 15 some are 30 some are 90.
Just read the contract.
If it does not say call the person or financial group that you have the contract through and ask them. If you cant do that contact a lawyer.

Typically, that nomenclature would only appear in the contract itself. In some cases, such as with door-to-door salespeople, there is a (typically 3 day) 'cooling-off' period to cancel the commitment.

I believe it is standard nationwide -- 3 days. Go to www.myflorida.com - that's the official website for the state, and should have a link to the attorney general's office. They can tell you for sure.
