Americans.

I'm basing this on a completely unscientific sample - of 2 Hungarian friends who love their country but have both abandoned it to live in London and never talk about how wonderful is and lots of Americans I see on TV (I don't have any rl American friends).

So I am comparing chalk and cheese. But my analysis of this sample using logistical regression methodology has led me to the incontrovertible conclusion that Americans are more nationalistic.

Having said that I've been to Budapest and I have to say that I've never had people be so generally rude - people in NYC were much friendlier...

So how do I tie that into my hypothesis? Well, I'll assume that the Hungarians are not so nationalistic and so don't believe that their country is the best, and so assume foreigners don't appreciate it and so are a little hostile whereas the Americans are assuming that their country is the best on earth and are always pleased to meet anyone else who also loves their country (how could they not?).

Hungarians, cose they really love their country and they are in a less number than Americans so maybe even Americans leave their country but you can't see it that much as in smaller countries..
