it's called economic interest hun... as long as big companies rely on illegal immigrants for labor, washington isn't going to do a darn thing.

Thank you North Jersey for your contribution !!

The question should be "Are our FEDERAL elected officials stalling on immigration because it's an election-year, and because their busy spending the money from Wal-Mart and other corporate interests."

Americans ARE taking matters into our own hands... we have a number of counties and cities enacting ordinances to put pressure on the illegals and the businesses that profit from them.

A "Tea-Party" would be interesting... though I think the "Whiskey Rebellion" is a more correct historical reference since we would be fighting the American Government rather than the British Crown.

There are no illegal immigrants, there are only illegal employers, stop employers, no immigrants. Now see how easy that was. Problem solved. In fact, I would advocate a three strike rule for illegal employers. Get caught with undocumented workers three times and you get the Corporate Death Sentence, dissolution of the corporation.
The fact is that we are now a nation ruled no longer by we the people. Now it is of the corporations, by the corporations, for the corporations. Thank you Republican Party.
