Since the bird will repeat itself many times a day, what do you think of the following popular phrases? "Stay the course, Vegas, baby, terrorists, cut and run, I did not have sex, wmd, nucular" ? Other suggestions will be appreciated. Thank you!

Find your favorite movie quote, then make an audio tape of it or burn it on a CD and have it loop for about an hour a day.
Use the actual audio from the movie so you know its perfect.
Also you can teach him a song, or just keep him by the phone and he will quickly learn hello.

Do you want the bird to be the attraction to you because you are unable to be funny on your own.
Why not make it a little more stylish and teach it more intellectual phrases. That will capture peoples attention, sure they will laugh at all the "funny" things but they will keep on talking about your clever bird!!!

"I did not have sex with that woman" is good.
Teach it to say things like "Feed me Seymour" or "I'll be back"
Don't teach it to imitate the telephone. My friend made that mistake, and now they have to run and check every time if it's the phone or the parrot.
Our cockatiel can say all our names, and asks us to scratch his head. Of course he doesn't know what "scratch my head" means, just that he gets attention when he says that.
