What will the 'scientific method' be like in the future, how will it change?

The scientific method won't change. The process of hypothesizing followed by controlled experiments has been proven time and again to be highly efficient. However, the sophistication of experiements is increasing all the time. It's possible that some other means of scientific exploration could be developed in the future, but that would no longer be the scientific method.
