you can take a vitamin called Acedophalus (spelling may be incorrect), it's the same ingredients that are in yogurt but a lot easier to take and more effective. I take it when I'm on antibiotics and it works like a charm. You can pick it up at any local drugstore. Should be in the vitamin isle.

You can't "cleanse" yourself of yeast you need a certain level to be normal. Meantime if you have had a number of yeast infections and are treating with OTC meds you may not be getting it under control well enough to keep it from coming right back. Your doctor can prescribe Diflucan, a one dose pill, that will help get it under good control. Meantime diabetics sometimes have recurring yeast infections and consuming too much sugar can be a factor as well for anyone. A trip to the doctor would be a good idea here. Eating yogurt can help keep you from having yeasts by keeping yeast in balance in your system but they won't cure anything.

Eating yogurt will help but your problem may be your partner if you are sexually active. Men can carry the yeast on them. I know it sounds gross but that happened with my mom and the doctor recommended that my step father wash his genitals with Denorex shampoo. This kills the yeast and my mom no longer had reoccurring infections. You can also make a douche out of the shampoo and use that it will cure the yeast infection also. I've never heard of the yeast cleanser so I can't help you there.

I get reoccurring yeast infections, too, due to a weak immune system. My GYN doctor told me to use Selsum Blue medicated (it only works with the selsum medicated shampoo) shampoo at the first signs of a yeast infection on the vaginal area. Lather it, and leave for about 5 minutes. It works for me. It helps to restore the ph balance to a healthier yeast level.

Eating yogurt isn't nearly as effective as douching with it.
If you are into sex toys, make sure they are cleaned well before use....otherwise the infections will be a continuous problem.
