I currently work in a nursing home in Tennessee. I have worked there for a year and I must say it has been the best job I have ever had..It gets tough at times but the work is worth it knowing that you make a difference in so many peoples lives, most residents in nursing homes don't have that much family and they get close to you

I worked in one for 2 years as a CNA. It wasn't too bad of a job - kinda hard though when you would get close to a resident and they passed away.

I have. I rank it as one of the worst jobs I ever had. So much was expected of the staff and they were so very short-handed. Mandatory overtime was commonplace. The residents were great, though.
