Hah!! What scared me the most was going to school that morning and end up being the only one in my uniform while others wore their costumes. My parents were immigrants, and could never really figure out what all the hoopla was about Halloween and dressing up. They did give us candy, though....

having to take candy to get it X-ray'd before we could eat it
(remember someone was tampering with candy, putting all kinds of things in it?) the hospital would x-ray it for free

My own mother telling me that "I" was actually a child witch......THAT did it for me. i had precognitive things happen...but at 4 when she said that it nearly did me in. I just wanted to be a fairy princess.......
