Do you know what, if they read your question, i think they would feel that, the fact that you were scared to tell them this was more worrying than the problem its self!
If you can genuinely say that you tried your best, then do not be ashamed, go speak to your parents and ask them to help you find out your options, i am sure they will be very proud that you want to succeed, rather than just not care like some kids!!
Be honest calm and i am sure you will be fine, you sound very level headed and mature.
You will be fine, and don't worry too much.

Your options are of course wide open. But if you still want to master this thing called math, I suggest you ask your parents to get you a tutor. Be honest with your parents on where you stand. An 80% mark in your public exam shows you have potential to do well in math. But now I guess you need some extra help, maybe temporarily.

Let them know. At first they may get shocked. But if you share your problem with them they will certainly forgive you & even feel sympathetic with you. See, that's the difference between other people & your own parents. Try your level best to make them aware of your difficulties & never ever state such kind of words such as " look i am the best in another subject" or " at least I have scored something but what did you score in your time." This will make the situation even worse. Tell them, that you'll try your level best to do better in the next exam. & to solve the main problem, the only thing you can do is to love math. Continuous practice may make you get through some exams but the effect will not last long. Once you start loving math you yourself will feel kean to practice math. so start loving math & undergo continuous practice from now on. I myself can suggest you a tip which I used to apply, whenever you get strucked, tell yourself that " I have gone through all these exams, & now a small sum dares to annoy me! Ok!Let's see who's going to win. I'll finish you up." & I guarantee you, you will feel a potential inside you. If you are facing problems on applying formulae, go through the book thoroughly, at least the section, you are facing problems with. if it appears that even then you can't solve the problem, read the question in a louder voice so that you can hear yourself, If you were missing some points, they will no longer be missed by you once you apply this technique. Whanever applicable, try to draw diagrams( in case of vectors, geometry, solid geometry, coordinate geometry, kinematics, statics, sets relation & mapping etc especially. I don't know which of these are included in your syllabus) they will expose the problem in front of you. Discuss your problem with your teachers & follow their opinion, Discuss with your friends. Once you start loving math, after you read a sum if you close your eyes you'll fell as if the sum is floating in front of you. Once, you apply all these techniques, I'm sure you will get much stronger in math & you'll never have to ask this question on yahoo again.
Best of Luck

Well, if you don't mind some serious comments,
you need to go and obtain the services of a Math
and an English Tutor. If your Math is bad, your
English is poor also.
They have community colleges in Tennessee, and
you can go there to take remedial courses that will
bring you up to par with most American youngsters.
It is not hard if you apply yourself and seek "A" s,
not just some "just slide by" grade. The decision
and the work is up to you. If you are concerned about
your parents, just tell them that you are going to
the local college to take preliminary college work.

No magic wands. It is simply hard work. At any stage the main condition to do well in maths is that you can not have any doubts. You must understand and be clear about every thing. This you can do initially by asking your teacher or friends. After that you start preparing in advance for next day's lessons and go to the class. You solve all the problems and you are swinging!
