I had to laugh at your remark, that is how I feel. I know where I am going to be buried, I already have the plot, wrote my own OB. Everything is so set.

Just have to tell you. I have 2 neighbors whose dogs have died, and they had them cremated and the pot is on top of the mantle with flowers and pictures.

Also, a friend has his wife's urn on the coffee table.

I am going to be cremated. I hate the thought of being in a casket, I want people to remember me when I was alive not what I looked like when they did their final walk by. I have a special wind chime that I will be put into.

but i plan to be interred in the ground once cremated- just like a grave
because i think its important to have a PLACE to go "visit" with the dead
we just did this with my mother when she passed away
you prepay with neptune society
then they handle everything from death up to you retrieving the ashes of your loved one
the burial was handled seperately with the cemetary and the whole thing cost less than three grand

I'm being cremated. Graveyards are a waste of space that could be useful. I figure they can just burn me up and toss the ashes whereever they feel like. I don't really care. I'll be dead, after all, it won't matter to me.

i will be cremated but not stuck on a mantel, rather spread out into the ocean. do you really think it is better to be stuck in a box and burried? dont you think that is a waste of space. i mean cumon' are you that connected to your bones you think they need to be hear forever.
