I hope your kidding? A 16 year old and a 13 year old, roaming naked in front of one another...how do you convey this to them. Tell them it's unacceptable! When I read your subject line, I thought you were going to talk about young children, which would have constituted a totally different answer! I think you need to have a long talk with your children and hopefully they aren't having sex...ya know if CPS was called, you could loose your children! Get a grip on this now!

No it is not okay. Tell them not to do that anymore. Tell them they are too old to be running around the house naked in front of each other and in front of you too. It' s great they have few inhibitions against nudity but improper for them to walk around that way. Remember you are the Mom and just because you tell them not to should be good enough reason.

If YOU have a problem with it, you are the parent, try to do it in a way that doesn't call too much attention to it, or shame them in any way. I think it's healthy. There was a good deal of nudity in my house growing up, and I have no hangups about sex now.
Don't, as another person said, send them to therapy, and create a problem where no one exists.

there seems to be no problem.i am 14, my brother is 16,
and my other sister is 17.at home, we are an open family,
and we also roam naked in front of each other.
its not a big deal.
i believe its good that, you have not forced them to wear clothes. and they could cover themselves when they like to.
also i would like to tell, that you are a family,
so it does not matter wether you are naked or not.
infact i am even naked in front of my cousins.
i believe not a big deal

At this age its not really acceptable for their ages to be doing this now id sit down and explain you are uncomfortable with this and they need to be dressed around the home unless they are in the privacy of their own room

Maybe it is ok for your doughter;since she is still 13 and some childeren are still not in puberty in 13.But your 16 year old sun is definitely a teenager by now who understands the concept of sex and he should have developped a feeling of emberessment by now.

why not they will learn that every ones body is different and love theres as long as they are not indecent... let them be free I walk around naked in front of my dogs all the times doesn't mean i want to have sex with them or that they lust after me it is all innocent.... let them be them selfs... this is all good advice unless you are American trailer trash or a Tasmanian

you mean totally naked?? To your daughter you should explain the private parts which should not been seen by other, then tell her she should wear clothes. To your son i guess the same thing. I hope this will help.

No. This may lead to some problems when they move out, get married, go to sleepovers, college, anywhere. Especially as they go through puberty. And as the girl's breasts begin to mature. Watch out.
