i am due for my period. last night i had very light pink spotting and only when i wiped after going to the bathroom, and then it stopped. i had slightly more of that this morning, but it's barely noticeable at all. i'm very dry though. if this were spotting/implantation bleeding wouldn't i be more wet? so is this spotting/implantation or is it my period just taking its time getting here?

Im sorry but the 1st answer is wrong implantation bleeds do not happen before your missed period they happen after and are confussed with being a mild period and can last for 2-3 days but she is right in saying take a test implantation bleeds can happen from your due period untill about 2 weeks later i know as i have had this with all my 6 pregnancies 3 which ended in m/c good luck

This happened to me last month,I had spotting when I went to the bathroom, very light pink and than nothing. That went on for three days and than my period reared its ugly head.If your period oesn't show up soon , take a test. Give it a few days though. Good luck.

implantation bleeding usually happens a litte earlier than your expected cycle. it looks just as you described though; scanty, spotty and pinkish. i did spot a little during the time my cycle was expected even though i'm 10.3 weeks. so, you still need to take a test. good luck to you.

if you were pregnant implantation would already have taken place sometimes you can get hormonal bleeding at the time of your period,take a test
