I would not mind so I suppose I am an exception.
I would date, and if the smoking bothered me, I
would do my best to use a little friendly persuasion
to have her stop. Life is give and take, so I would be
willing to give up something in return.

Birds of a feather stay together!!
Smokers with smokers, non with non.
A new study published in the Australian Medical Journal suggests that smokers are more likely to be dateless.
According to News.com, the University of Sydney looked at over 130,000 advertisements on Australia's largest dating website before arriving at this conclusion.
It was discovered that people who advertise on lonely-heart websites are more likely to smoke than those who don't, and those whose pictures receive the greatest number of hits are non-smokers. According to Simon Chapman, the lead author of the study, the figures are probably conservative because not all advertisers would have admitted to being regular smokers.
"If anything, the data we've got probably means that there are more smokers advertising because smokers have got the message that it's not particularly attractive and it's a bit of a turn-off," Chapman said.
In every age group for women, the study found higher proportions of smokers among the advertisers than in the general population. This was also the case for men aged 50 and over.
Quit Smoking and live the life God wanted for you!
Good Luck and God Bless

It can be a sign that you can't trust a person as much, because devious people usually smoke. Think of how many times you see these sorts in the movies, or in real life how many times a slick salesman lights up when he's about ready to close you on a deal.

I'm a non smoker and have been out with one or two (light) smokers.
I prefer a non smoker, but it's not my main point in looking for someone for a relationship.
Although, I probably would be put off by a heavy smoker

Some people are repulsed by the idea of kissing someone who smokes. To them it feels like licking an ashtray.

It does but the stink of booze or worse stale booze would put me off even talking to someone, I was a smoker and it was my choice, I gave up and now realised how whiffy I must have smelt to other people, as clean as I am I honestly didn't realise it was that bad, but lots of people have vices and for me booze and the staleness of it make me want to vomit, its vile and worse than ciggy smells.
