sure it would give them more power, but why on earth would they use them. Would they try to invade another country? Would it be easier to just let them do their tests and just express our disagreement? Maybe they want them just to defend their country. Is the world overreacting to these nuke tests.

Go read the Yahoo Home page... "North Korea says United Nations sanctions are "Declaration of War" is a headline...

Now keep in mind that this is not a careful, scientific poll of the North Korean PEOPLE, this is the response of their government (a communist dictatorship) to the United Nations (world opinion).

Kim Jong Il, and his late father have a history of aggression (invasion, war, raids, kidnapping) against their neighbors South Korea and Japan, as well as being unable to follow through on treaties and agreements...

Kim Jong Il leads his nation in such a fashion that it acts like a petulant teen-ager... and forgive the analogy, but nuclear weapons are "Big-Boy" toys.

"Sure Mom... I'll stop growing weed in my room... IF and ONLY IF you give me money and junk food"... yet he moves his weed-crop up to the attic !!

Seriously... the concerns are that North Korea will sell the technology if not sell an actual weapon to others like Iran, Syria, or even non-nation actors like Al Quaida.

North Korea is like a meth-addict... it is so busy seeking the drug that it forgets its kids and lets them starve, while it buys cool stereo-stuff and cars to give to it's friends. It has set up a meth-lab, and will sell it's product to who ever has money, NOT caring what that drug does to others.

The question is not who North Korea will harm? You should be asking instead who they will sell these nuclear weapons to? North Korea's economy is gone and the state has no other means of raising funds other than selling weapons. The world needs to overreact, if N.Korea was espanding its knowledge on nuclear reactors for the benefit of the people, ie: a power plant, that would be great. That is not the point in this case.

N Korea performed truly some its analyze in secrecy so by technique of the time the international discovered out that they had already carried out the overall public of progression so preventing it replaced into no longer conceivable. extra the storage web content and such are underground and demanding to ruin. by technique of attempting to wipe out the guns and the centers it would want to have meant an all out attack both in the air and on the floor. N Korea has a huge military and particularly properly geared up so it would want to were a demanding wrestle. extra there is the distinct probability of China getting into the conflict on the area of N Korea as replaced into carried out in the 50s and the U. S. and S Korean forces are literally unable to holding decrease back that type of squaddies. truly numbers win. The terrain is done of hills, mountains and such and the N Koreans have a number of of bunkers in the hills so a floor attack might want to be demanding. Aerial attack adversarial to many bunkers might want to be met with a huge volley of AA missiles making it demanding to hit the bunkers as severe altitude hits received't do. at the same time as N Korea had nukes they did not initially have a missile delivery gadget which has when you consider that been advanced. They tried sanctions before with restricted success and now attempt to end lengthy decision missile progression yet back no longer doing so properly.

Sonny Boy don't you realize we live in a dangerous world? First of all it would harm YOU!! If NK sold a Nuke to Iran who in turn gave it to Al Qaida do you think Al Qaida would have any hesitancy about exploding it on your city? And if Al Qaida decided to explode it on your city do you think they are going to give you a personal exemption from evaporation.

The one great lesson we should have learned from WWII is that appeasement only emboldens tyrants. But folks like you are going to have to learn the hard way. I just hope that if the scenario outlined above plays out me and my family survive.

They are Communists. Kim Jong IL is a retard who doesn't care about his own people and only wants nuclear power to attack its neighbor, South Korea.

Oh my God. North Korea has only a few sources of income.

1.China

2. Counterfeiting

3.Drug trafficking

4.The sale of missile and other weapons technology.

We are not concerned so much of them using them because it does not benefit them as much as selling them to terrorists would. $$$$
