Bad things happen to bad teams. Biggest choke I've ever witnessed, but I'm only 49 years old.

For three quarters the Cardinals were in the Twilight Zone. They were at home and playing on adrenaline. Then reality set in. The most important aspect of the game was that it proved that this years addition of the Bears is hardly as good as the '85 team. The Cardinals are not a good team...yet, but were able to manhandle the Bears for most of the game. Yes, it was a pretty big choke. Certainly not the biggest of all time but maybe this season (via the melt down of the Eagles in the fourth quarter of the Giant game a few weeks ago.)

It's really neither. Yes the Bears are damn good. Their defense proved that. There offense is hit or miss. But the Cardinals need to learn how to put a game away. They are the ones to take the blame. Sooner or later they'll need to learn from their mistakes.

a little of both...
the bears defense is the best in this century and will cause many turnovers the rest of the season.
hester is a great return man and has incredible speed.
but the cards had that game in the bag, no team should ever be up by 20 and lose without the other team scoring an offensive td.

The Cards just thought they had it wrapped up. and it was then DA Bears that shocked the world. there D stepped up and played awesome football when they had too. i would say that Da Bears went in there, expecting to win. and the Cards knew it, and made a statement in the 1st half. no one wants to get embarrased on a national game. in the 4th the Bears D game alive. and the rest was history. Grossman had the worst game of any QB i have ever seen in the NFL. let see if they can correct there mistakes on there bye week, and see how they step up against San Fran in 2 weeks.

The Cardinals defense was amazing, but their offense gave up all the points, so its hard to say if theyre bad, but i would say that the Bears defense is just that good. I mean did u see Urlacher strip that ball out?

Bears stepped up to the plate when the Cards dropped the ball literally. Bears defense did a hell of a job last night and ran w/everything they had and yes the cards let their nerves & stress get to them.Grossman sucked and it showed miserably. Da bears seen their shot & ran all the way w/it! DA BEARS!

Bears proved they can be had, and when they start playing real teams their record wil normalize. Can't play the Packers and Lions and Cards all year.
