I got this stone from Afghanistan it is a couple shades of blue egg shaped and has specks of gold swirled threw it I was wondering if anyone seen something like it before or kind of knew what it was or else who I could go to to find out what it is ?

Well afganistan is famous for its Lapis lazuli.. which often includes pyrite (fools gold) so that would be my bet! Nice.

The much more common azurite has a similar colour but is a carbonate so it reacts with acids.

Maybe a blue sapphire
