goto altavista.com and by the search bar, click the music or mp3 tab and then search the song or artist you want. Chances are you will find the song you want. And it is all free cause the songs are posted on peoples' web pages, etc....

Everything listed so far is trackable and the free versions have spyware. Honestly, there really isn't anything left since all the lawsuits and stuff that isn't gonna dirty up your computer.

uTorrent is excellent, if you don't mind being a bit illegal. Freemusic.com has some fun free legal stuff, but I don't know if you can upload. Finally, download.com has both legal downloading and uploading.
