To the questions raised in this forum as to who will win Champions Trophy, I have been all along answering that since cricket is a game of uncertainties, nothing ncan be predicted ion advance and that upset is possible any time. This point has been proved by the thumping win of New Zeland over South Africa, who are No. 2 in the ranking. My be some more of such upsets will be in store in the days to come

A good win for the kiwis for sure. had to do a lot with the pitch though. we still need to see a lot more before we can say that they are the dark horses for the world cup. west indian pitches will be a whole lot different to the indian ones. so don't think they have good chances against big guns.

If you ask me, Kiwis have always been my favorite.
They have always been the dark horses,
However everytime they have been a bit unlucky.
Definitely they are heading towards a win.

yes,
but i don't think so, this will decide kiwis are going to win a world cup..this is pitches in India now bowler Paradise..
getting top order quickly make trouble of any team played in this contest.. that what happen to south Africa..
"""one match can't decide any think..""""
wait and see how they(kiwis) play against two Asian gainst srilanka & pakistan.. THEN GIVE UR OPINION

Well, they deserved to win as they played good cricket on that particular day and you can't just refer them as dark horse to win the World Cup..............cmon, they hardly play cricket and I think there are much more competitive teams that are favourable to win the World Cup next year...........

Why no longer? they are performing fairly nicely against India interior the try sequence. bear in mind, interior the previous the Kiwis continuously struggled in try fits. in the event that they are enjoying professionally right here, than i ask your self how they'll play interior the ODI sequence.

well they were a bit lucky that Smith put them into bat first, and yes the can win ,but i think the pitches are going to play a major part in deciding the eventual winners
