Xbox 360 is better. More games, can go live, better graphics.

First of all, xbox 360 is a 1 year old model, and playstation 3 comes out in 2007.You can expect that with all the competition that exists between microsoft and sony concerning consoles that the PS3 will be far better...But it also costs about 600 euros...so it is a bit expensive but i think it will be worth it if you can afford it..

Playstation 3 might have better specs, but in my opinion the 360 is gonna sell a lot better then the PS3.
Honestly, I think the Wii is gonna be the best of all three, it looks sooooo good.

You will hear very different answers from different people, and there are no right answers. It depends a lot on what games you like and whether those games are available on the PS3 or Xbox 360. Take a look at these lists:

But one of the above posts was inaccurate. The PS3 officially releases on November 17, 2006. But yes, if you don't preorder or line up, you may have to wait until 2007.

I'm going to have to say 360. There have been some development problems with the PS3 that have some people saying it's not worth the big price. But if you want to spend 600.00 go right ahead. I love my 360 it's best if you have broadband so you can play online! I doubt a lot of people will have the PS3.

okay, hey, I was just gonna answer ur question, (I'm Ashlyn, the person that let you have best answer and we both go to EHS, I'm just on another profile thingy)
Well, I'd have to say PS3,
why---- SONY is better, LOL! jk. People tend to think just because I'm a girl, I don't know what a Playstation is... (not assuming you or anything) But I have about every other addition to Playstation except for the PS3, hmmm..... guess I need to update.
p.s. Finally had an idea for that "egg drop" thing, It's kinda stupid though. just ask 'ol Hobbsy about it... LOL! âºâºâº

Given that the PS-3 is yet to be released I do not think this call can be easily made.
The Playstation will have some superior processing stats but, more importantly, it will come with a long, strong background of Sony games. That makes me think it will be a better system.

For throwing off the top of a 5-story structure the PS 3 goes a tad farther, but the 360 gives you more bang for your buck with the way it shatters when it hits the ground.
