It's hard to say. I don't have a clue how they compare so you'd have to give your approximate size and waist and hip measurements. Also your height would make a dif in the length. We have "short" or "petite" sizes, "average", and "tall". And not to get too technical, it ALSO depends on the style of jeans. Like I have to have a 12 for the waist in a regualr pair of jeans that fit at the waist but the butt and legs are huge. I can wear an 8 in "low rise" because I am short waisted and the low rise fits at my natural waist.

You would have to say which brand. If you bought Levi's they will have an inch measurement to compare. If you bought Katies pants their size 8 is about a Levi 12. Maybe tell us measurements would be easier. Australian sizing is so crazy no body knows what size they are.

I am not sure but my guess is a 4 or a 5! I don't really know the exact difference between them!
