I would like to know of the cheapest way to store furniture in Buckinghamshire. Im looking for a garage sized area to store my house contents while I'm abroad. does anyone have any ideas on this?

Your best option is to use a company like Access Self Storage. A garage is equivalent to about 100sqft. They have a freephone number 0800 731 8404. If you call them they can locate your nearest branch and give you a price quote.

Ive used a storage containner in the north east and it was about £100 a month, they are not totally secure and can be broken into through the roof so try and go for a place which has cctv.Furniture is safe otherwise as long as the furniture goes in dry you wont get mold.

Yeah storage lock up places are your safest things. I rented one when I was between house sales and it cost me £5 a week, I used my own padlocks, which you don't really need to and there was cctv all through the building.
